The words of men may be contested but the power of God cannot be denied
When this power is at work it produces signs and wonders. In Acts 3 we see Peter and John boast in the power of God as they told that man silver and gold we have none, 'but such AS I HAVE give i unto thee, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk'. It was no guess work! They knew what they were doing, the anointing was upon them and that was put into demonstration for all to see.
In verse 9 of that scripture everyone could identified with the power of God that was wrought before their eyes on a man whom they all knew so well.
‘So, he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
As a result of what they saw, in Acts 3, 5000 souls were added to the church. Even when the pastors of the church were been led to prison yet the church still exploded! (Acts 4:1-4).
‘Now as they spoke to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them, being greatly disturbed that they taught the people and preached in Jesus the resurrection from the dead. And they laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was already evening. However, many of those who heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand’.(Acts 4:1-4)
The grammars of men may be contested but the power of God cannot be denied! One demonstration of that power brought supernatural additions to the church. How much of that power we need in the church and in our lives today!
One notable miracle can turn the table for the church!
Acts 4:16, "What shall we do to these men? For that indeed a NOTABLE MIRACLE hath been done by them is MANIFEST to all them that dwell in Jerusalem and we CANNOT deny it".
Something notable will be done in your life that will manifest to all!
The words of the church may be contested, but the ACTS OF GOD in her midst cannot be denied.
We are coming back to the days of notable and undeniable miracles where our gospel will not just be in words but 'in demonstration of the Spirit and of power'. We are coming back to the days of mighty signs and wonders!
God is looking for vessels who will bear his power to the people. Men who are willing to pay the price for this power because the power of God is not free; were it free all of us will be as anointed as the early apostles whose shadows even heal the sick (Acts 5:15-16)!
But Hallelujah we have better promises, because the glory and the anointing of this latter house shall be greater than the former!
Are you ready to be a carrier of his power?
