What we have studied in the past few weeks on this subject of EXPERIENCING THE WORD is to realize and value the place of the word of God. What we don't value does not add value! Giving priority to the word in our hearts is what will give us our place on the earth. This is why David said he valued God's word more than silver and gold! And this value was not misplaced as David turned out to be one of the greatest men that has ever walked through the surface of the earth. When we too give attention to the word the world around us will pay attention to us!

Experiencing the word is the key to ruling our world. This much has been established. However what we need to find out now is how to experience the word, and this is what we will focus on from henceforth in this series! How do we get to that point that we shout like Jeremiah, " thy words were found and I did eat them and thy word became the joy and the rejoicing of my heart"? This will be our pursuit for the rest of this series; finding the word that changes our world. We will be looking at how to access the riches in this word. We will use two scriptures here as we get on this spiritual adventure!

We put two scriptures together here, Psalm 82:5-6 and John 10:34-36.

"They know not, neither will they understand they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the most High."(Psalms 82:5-6)

"Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken"(John 10:34-35)

If you read both of these scriptures you will see the following truths standing out

•we are gods! (both scriptures establishes that)

•the entrance of the word is what establishes our 'godly status'(Jesus said if he called them gods it is because the word of God came to them)

•but lack of understanding of the word has made 'our world' to run out of course! Lack of understanding has not made the word to have its course and release us as gods to our world. Lack of understanding has not made us experience the word(David lamented this in verse 6 of the psalms, 'they know not, neither will they understand and so they could not experience the word thereby they lose control of their world)

Clearly from the foregoing, understanding the word is the key to experiencing the word and experiencing the word is the key to dominating our world.

'When our understanding dawns, our miracles are bound to come because the benefits of scriptures are released at the point of understanding!'

To put in other words, to dominate our world we must experience the word! However to experience the word we must understand the word! Understanding of the word is key because principally that is the ministry of the word - to enlighten the darkness in our heart! Psalm 119:130 says it well, "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple". Until the word gives understanding to our heart we don't become outstanding in life!

All for the purpose of understanding the word, the Spirit of God transported Phillip from Samaria to the desert to teach the Ethiopian Eunuch. The first question Phillip posed to him was, 'Understandest thou what thou readest'(Acts 8:30). But as soon as he understood, he experienced the miracle of salvation, but he was not only the one, everyone in Africa who will ever get save had their salvation traced to the Ethiopian Eunuch!

When our understanding dawns, our miracles are bound to come because the benefits of scriptures are released at the point of understanding!

The subject of understanding the word was at the heart of the parable of the sower in Matthew. There were those who profit by the word and those who did not profit, the major difference between these two sets of people was their level of understanding. Jesus said it all in verse twenty-three of that chapter. "But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty" (Matthew 13:23). Those who brought forth in the world are those who understood the word and even in productivity some were 30 fold, others 60fold and others a 100 fold. Each one of these levels was separated by their level of understanding!

It's why Paul earnestly always pray that our eyes may see because ultimately it is what we see that we seize! "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power"(Ephesians 1:17-20).

I pray that same prayer for you today that you will come to a new level of spiritual understanding of the word that will make you outstanding in the world. Your eyes of understanding will be enlightened and you will begin to know the spiritual truths that will bring liberty, freedom, prosperity, increase and blessings to your world! Amen!
