Paul said if anyone preaches any other gospel other than this let such fellow be accursed.

||| But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed |||
Galatians 1:8‭-‬9 KJV

There is only one gospel, one message, and one savior.

||| There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. ||| Ephesians 4:4‭-‬6 KJV

This gospel is the good news of how Jesus saves, heal, and delivers! And if Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever then this gospel that saves, heals, and delivers remains the same for all ages! Paul feared a water-down version of this message hence he spoke those words of warning, he knew sometimes in the future some men, believers, will have some form of godliness while denying the power that it carries!

There is only one gospel, and its message it's clear: redemption brings covenant exemption from every worldly experience and destruction. John declared unequivocally in 1 John 5:4,

||| For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith |||
1 John 5:4 KJV

But long before this gospel was preached all through the old testament God demonstrated for us, using the children of Israel who were type and shadows of the church, to speak in clear terms that whatever happens to the world will not happen to his people! And long before Israel became form as a nation He has been doing that. With Isaac in Genesis 26 when there was a famine in the land for Isaac was exempted!

The Children of Israel were exempted from the ten dangerous plagues that came on Egypt. There were 10 of them and even though they lived in the same land they had different experiences! It is a downgrade of our covenant mentality to think we are susceptible to what the world suffers from!

Isaiah 60:1-3 summarised this gospel for us! And then in Matthew 5:16 Jesus came and shed more light on how we are the light! Psalm 82:5-7 says not knowing who you are means you can perish like mere mortals. The reality of our covenant benefits is activated by our covenant mentality, when we think like sons of men we die like sons of men!

This gospel was given to us to mark us out for unique, different, and supernatural experiences, but walking and working with a natural mentality blocks the flow of divinity through us. This is why when you see people who know what their covenant realities are their covenant dispositions are different. They are the people in Job who will say: "WHEN MEN SAY THERE IS A CASTING WE WILL SAY there IS A LIFTING UP". This is the covenant mentality at work.

Isaiah 8:12-13 comes handy here again,

||| Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this person shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear nor be afraid. Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself, and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread |||
Isaiah 8:12‭-‬13 KJV

There are covenant standards that dictate and regulate our covenant disposition and it is these dispositions that determine our experiences and manifestation!

Why didn't Paul panicked when he was beaten by a snake but rather shook it into the fire and went ahead with his business? Covenant mentality! He believed Mark 16:17-19 through and through. Since Covid 19, many pastors don't lay hands again on the sick! All of a sudden we have to allow the fears of the world to invalidate the power of the word!

One year after, what we have seen from the covid 19 experience is that the church is no different from the world and it's all down to the fact that we have lost our covenant mentality though the scriptures warn us to not fear their fear. Today there are few churches you can step into without been forced to wear masks. This is the same ground we call holy and healing ground? Something turns on me inside when I see the healer fearing sickness!

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was talking to believers, especially the pastors and he asked some pertinent question:

He said, "What happened to you? Where is the word of God in your mouth? Do you realize if you believe in the word of God the way you believe in this vaccine, there will be power in your mouth? He made us healers. What’s wrong? What happened to you? When did we start making such recommendations to God’s people? For God’s sake, think again!

How can they send to the churches, go tell them to take the vaccines? Listen, if I say to someone, you shall live but not die, that’s it to him. Isn’t that the Bible that you read? Isn’t that the scripture that you read? Where is your God of Elijah, your God of Moses, your God of Peter, James, and John? What’s the matter with you?”

The question here is, what happened to us? Or more pointedly what happened to our covenant mentality in Christ inspired by the many " In Him" scriptures that we do quote? We have often quoted 'in Him we live and move and have our being"! If that indeed is the case then why am I afraid of any virus? If indeed this word is true why am I putting my faith in a certain vaccine other than the power of the blood Jesus shed!

This is the passion week, the week when our Lord and Savior died on the cross, and tomorrow is Good Friday and so I ask myself, to what intent and end did Christ died? The scriptures made it clear, that he might destroy the works of the devil, that he might give us believers in him, a different experience to that of the world. Why should I fear any sickness or disease? Any virus? Infections? Didn't he took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses? Wasn't I healed by His stripes? Then why do I think, speak and behave like the men and women in the world who have no access to these covenant packages?

One year after we see a church that knows the covenant packages delivered to it, we see a church who knows it all but in the day and hour of temptation turned back from the battle and behaved much like the world. It reminded me of the children of Ephraim, the Bible says they were armed but turned back in the day I'm of adversity. The church has been armed potentially but ran away on the day of battles. So when covid -19 came instead of us raising the standard of the faith what we did was become covid-19 compliant churches: churches for all intent and purpose were made to deny the reality of God's power. A Church that turns back sick? A church that cannot serve communion? A church that can't say like the three Hebrew boys if I die I die, we couldn't put our faith and lives on the line for what we believe in and in so doing raised the question that did we believe in the first place?

Paul said, ||| For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he can keep that which I have committed unto him against that day |||
2 Timothy 1:12 KJV

Two words here, the first is believe and the second is persuaded which is another word for conviction! Paul didn't just believe Paul was convinced. When you believe takes deeper root it's called conviction!

At the point of conviction, a man is ready to die for his beliefs. That's why Esther, Daniel, the three Hebrew boys, the early church, were ready to die for their beliefs! Who did you believe? What did you believe? To what extent did you believe? You look at that scripture again and you will see that for your conviction you are ready to suffer anything! Presently we have a church that is not ready to suffer!

Bill Gates confessed to another coming pandemic that will grab our attention more than covid 19. I use the word confessed not predict, no one can predict the outbreak of disease if indeed it's natural. All of these virus outbreaks are calculated war against humanity that's why they find it easy to predict this. Anyway, whatever disease or virus or plagues may come when you know who you believe and what you believe you will be smiling at the storm, for you know that those who are born of God are meant to have different experiences in the world, they are born to overcome the world!

We reign in life when we believe in Christ.

As we celebrate this new month that is here and the impending Easter celebration I leave you with one scripture in Romans 5:17

||| For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) |||
Romans 5:17 KJV

Salvation in Christ ushers us into a life of dominion in all realms and facets of life. This scripture is there for the taken, for those who believe!
